About the Author

Fatma Hussein is the author of Shayma, Tie Your Camel, published by FAI. A mother of seven and lifelong student of knowledge, Fatma supports reverts and young Muslim girls at her local mosque through learning circles and community programs. Her writing and volunteer work reflect her passion for nurturing faith, curiosity, and understanding.In her debut book, Shayma, Tie Your Camel, she introduces children to the balance between trusting Allah and taking responsibility — a timeless message rooted in Islamic teaching

Briliana is a children's book illustrator and artist based in Indonesia. Although she has long had a passion for drawing, Briliana officially began her serious journey into children's book illustration in late 2024.With a deep love for all things cute and whimsical, Briliana's illustrations are not just for young readers but also for her own creative fulfillment. She believes in the power of art to spread positivity and joy, and each piece is crafted with the hope of sharing kindness and warmth with the world. Through her work, Briliana aims to create stories and characters that bring a smile to faces, young and old.
